FIREWORKS

We hold a fantastic Charity Fireworks event every November, which is fun for the whole community and all are very welcome.

Our volunteers sell delicious hot dogs and burgers from our BBQ (with meat supplied from local Oak House Farm) before and after the fireworks, plus hot drinks and other refreshments too!

The firework display is second-to-none and it’s always an amazing night – “The best local fireworks around” – whilst raising valuable funds for our Scout Group.

AUCTION

Our biennial Grand Auction (held in July) is a big crowd-pleaser and every year we are blown away by the generosity of the community, as we collect a wide variety of donations to tempt bidders on the day.

OTHER FUNDRAISING…

Following a monumental effort in fundraising over the last few years, we are delighted to have recently completed the replacement of our kitchen at the Bramford Guide & Scout Head Quarters and, also the refurbishment of our boys & girls toilets, including the provision of a new disabled toilet.
HUGE THANKS to Bucket and the team at KBB for their hard work and for making this happen!

The fund-raising now continues for further much-needed refurbishment work at our HQ. Whilst the parish council are responsible for the up-keep and maintenance of the exterior of the building, the Guide & Scout Groups are responsible for the inside. So we are now raising funds to bring the following areas up to spec:

• Renewing skirting tiles around the main hall
• Re-painting of the HQ throughout 
• Some sound proofing to improve acoustics in the main hall.

BUY A BRICK, BUILD A LEGACY!

Past and present Guide & Scout members and their families, plus local businesses and supporters of First Bramford Guide and Scouts, can buy an inscribed brick to go on the Legacy Wall in the entrance to the HQ. Small bricks are available for just £30 each or larger bricks for £60.
